My question is (assuming availability) how many eVIPs would be required? As far as I can see, they are for 'systemwide' upgrades and have no 1-direction requirement so 1 for the outbound and 1 for the return should be enough.
I could of course be wrong!!
AFAIK, it is 1 direction, 3 segments, AA metal only.
MAN-LHR - no go
LHR-JFK - 1 cert
JFK-FCO - 1 cert
FCO-ORD-JFK - 1 cert (the only exeception to 1 direction rule)
JFK-LHR - 1 cert
LHR-MAN - no go
4 certs anyway you look at it.
