I had the same confusion. The title said the drink was 'yucky', but the body of the thread said it was the 'best cocktail' the OP ever had.
And now, the additional comment that the original thread was split by the moderator only adds to the confusion. Oh well...
As to the Singapore Sling, I liked it a lot at first but quickly got tired of the taste, finding it a tad too sweet. I still order it from time to time for variety.
