US Airways had a promo a few years ago called Get Out More for double elite mileage, they published at least five different promo codes for it, if you registered for the five different codes you earned six times elite mileage. On a CLT-LGW flight I took I earned about 100 status miles per minute (I earned 6 times on many flights during the promo, but due to the length of the flight and the tailwinds, that would have been the best of the bunch using this metric).
