They are "Smart Saver" fares.

Smart saver on NZ's trans-tasman and domestic operations do not earn mileage on any carrier.

On long haul operations, the cheapest general fares (global saver) earn mileage on AirNZ Airpoints programme only (not on other carriers)

Grab-a-seat deals do not earn mileage at all, regardless of length.
