While I think you are kind of right in your view that it was somewhat inappropriate to be paged I really feel that you overreacted. I think the agent saw an even trade and wanted to accomodate the issue before the crush of boarding time hit. I think that it shows the agents being somewhat proactive for regular customers - something that isn't always the case.
