Not to question that it happened as you posted - anything's possible.
However, my response was consistent with the published rules.
Yeah, I know rules, and published rules...but reality is what counts. A simple phone call did the trick for me - no receipts needed, they just went into thier little computer and looked up all my stays for the previous 12 months (I think I had 3 stays) and gave me the credit.
