Sorry to bring up this old thread but I have a friend who has a RTFC and it's going to expire. He doesn't plan on flying them anytime soon so he is trying to give it to me. Does he have to go to the airport in person to get this exchanged to $200 voucher or can it be done via mail.

He's 3 hours from the nearest US Airways ATO so I'm trying to minimize any obstacles.

Also, is the $200 voucher valid for international flights as well?
