I'm spending 10 days in Tokyo/Kyoto, flying in and out of NRT, and I'd like to rent two cell phones to stay in touch with my partner while I'm at a conference and she's elsewhere. I may also make calls to local numbers. I don't expect to use more than 60 minutes per phone the whole time.

If any of you have experience with this, which of these many, many options would you recommend?
