Hi, this is my first post, can i just say that i read these forums all the time, and i think you guys do a great job......
Anyway on with my story.

I am flying back from LA on QF12 on the 15th of July. I have checked the loads and they don't seem to full, in J9, and Y9. I only have Bronze FF status, however my mum who has Platinum FF Status requested an upgrade through "family upgrade", does that mean on the request it has her status and details or mine, in which case am i slumped to the bottom of the list?
How are Qantas to there Platinum members? are they "generous" as in go to all efforts, or because shes not actually flying will they not help?
Also do you think the upgrade will be successful?
