After my initial disappointment, after giving this a bit more thought, I have actually decided that the TYP program is still a very good deal ... not as great as it used to be, but since I will continue to earn a minimum of 2 TYP per dollar on my PPE card plus I have the mtvU card, it will still work out well for me, especially once you consider we earn miles on the free travel they provide. The only real problem with the new chart is the $400 cap on domestic tickets, that's just way too low.
