Usually you can't ask to have it removed, since there's usually a reason for it. Sometimes they do removie it, although not usually, based on what I have heard.
Unless i had found this website, i wouldnt have known what the SSSS was all about, so its a little unfair to blame the OP for not looking.
For my, and probably others benefit, can you explain what you should do, or where you should go if you find SSSS on your boarding pass.
