Depends on the fire code. Often it will state online the maximum occupancy for the room, but the hotel can tell you for sure.
In Phoenix my experience was 4-adults was the max... regardless of configuration.
Thanks, I definitely call the hotel first. It sounds like the regulations will vary by city and/or state.
