Only stayed at the Ren... was upgraded to a Junior Suite near the lounge. There was a nice handwritten card and gifts waiting for us in the room when we arrived, and the phone was already ringing when we got to the room. It was the GM calling to welcome us and give us personal contact info if we needed anything.
I've got no reason to try the Marriott when the treatment is this good at the Ren... the room we had was in good condition, not brand-new decor, but not unplaesant at all.
