I'm sitting in the LHR T1 F lounge right now, awaiting my flight to FRA. All I've ever seen here or in the Terraces (or in the FRA lounge) in terms of German newspapers is the Süddeutsche. So, BahrainLad, where do I find an FAZ?

In terms of lounges, the LHR T1 F lounge is way above any SEN lounge I've ever been to (actually, right there between SEN lounge and FCT, probably even closer to the FCT than to a SEN lounge), so that's always a nice experience on the way to FRA. SEN lounge in FRA is good to eat in/get magazines, but I agree that the BA lounge is a heaven of tranquility compared to any LH lounge.

I do not find LH short-haul C service superior to BA short-haul C service at all - even accounting for the fact that LH provides decent reading material and BA doesn't. Re on-time performance, any airline will give precedence to longhaul flights on its home airport if slot availability is limited, so it's always going to be easier to get to FRA from LHR on LH and to LHR from FRA on BA.
