To be fair to the OP, I would agree that LH is infinitely preferable to BA on shorthaul trips in C. The service on LH is warmer, the staff (ground and air) are often competent, baggage delivery is reasonably timely, food is better, drink selection is OK and certainly no worse than BA IMHO (I don't drink the Monocrap anyway).
