Yes, I checked the train schedule, and, as you said, quite a few! But it's not that long a ride from Tarbes to Pau...

Seems strange that they have no public transit whatsoever from Pau to their airport, other than a shuttle that runs twice/day (sometimes just once) only in one direction (airport to Pau). Weird. Taxis must do well in Pau!
