You might have been hotter if you had gotten the snack pack--they're pretty modest. If I see a missed meal in flight, I usually take along some power bars or grab a pizza to eat en-route, and save the snack for later.

Did you stop en-route, like in St. Louis, and pick up more passengers? This would be the only reason for them not to have the "upgraded" snacks.

I've rarely had problems with their promptness, but I've read recently that their on-times have been slipping. No excuse for the stewardess, though.

I've never had reason to write to Southwest. I think the snack & stewardess issues would be the strongest issues to raise, and I would be sure to cite the date and flight number.

I like Southwest, and will fly them any day over America West--which has messed up every flight I've had or been involved with (others I'm meeting).
