Cathay changed my flight so now I need to buy another nt in hotel - anything owing?
CX have rescheduled the HKG-PER flight, bringing it forward from an overnight flight to a daytime flight.
I'm not happy as we picked CX for this trip primarily because all 4 sectors (UK-Aus) could be done overnight, but now we're left with 3/4, which we could have had with a number of carriers.
Apparently we could get a full refund but that's no good as we have non-refundable commitments in Australia and it's going to cost us £000's more to move to another carrier now.
It's an I class fare so my TA says they won't book us on the overnight QF flight.
Will CX offer us anything? We're (5 plus an infant) booked in J class... From what i've read they seem like a hard nosed bunch in these instances, so I suspect our choices are take it or leave it...
