At least you got a good story out of it. :-)

Actually, I would have gotten a kick out of this. I still remember a 1970s UA landing in Ft. Wayne, when the pilot made a steep descent, a sharp bank, and straightened it out practically on the threshold 100 feet up. It was exhilarating. Those ex-fighter jocks can really fly.
