Good wet morning from here in Texas.

I looked on ExpertFlyer and found that all flights from DFW-ORD have zeros across the board for today. They canceled the 6am flight so that's probably the issue. I'm on the 5pm flight but would really like to get out of here a bit earlier due to potential cascading delays as the day goes on.

In your experience, what has your success rate been in similar situations of being able to grab an earlier flight as an Ex Plat?

Thanks very much.

Mike

Today will be tough day for standbuys at DFW. It's far more than just the 6am canacelation that's zerod out flights. Tons of misconnects, cancelations etc to accommodate with the lovely weather here the last couple of days.

You can always try to stand by, but decent change you won't make it. EXP will help, but the displaced passengers will be higher on the list.
