And, we all have the option of flying those carriers. The fact that we fly AA despite these advantages that other carriers have means that AA has other advantages which we value more.
There are differences between carriers. It seems, well, overly optomistic to ask AA to keep all of its advantages over other carriers, which are enough by themselves to get us to fly AA, and also ask them to match any features that are better on those other carriers.
