This is where the guy making all the moolah (
Doug) to come out with a statement, hit the talk shows, etc. and
needs to say "We've got a problem... and this is how we're going to fix it... in the short term and the long term"
I realize no one wants to talk about the 800lb gorilla in the elevator, but
it needs to come from the top and needs to show that they are being pro-active vs. constantly re-active.
I get a call from my mom at 9am saying her clients flights are cancelled out of DCA-MSP-BIL ... nothing like hearing "Zippppppp whats going on with NWA???" and then she says that they have been
re-booked with DL on a 3 segment itin thru ATL and SLC with 35 min between flights in ATL... changing concourses no less... that and they have to pay for their extra hotel room tonight... no info at all from NWA on how this is being handled...
mom and her clients are not happy with NWA at the moment...
