I do both, sometimes the trip is about sightseeing sometimes it's about shopping. Other times it is about both. I rarely purchase clothing; mostly jewelry, handbags, linen, rugs. All sorts of wonderful memories are connected to these purchases. My friends say that I inherited the shopping gene and am a magnet for good buys when shopping, so I guess it's in my blood.
