Very late email/phone notice of cancellation

By a chance visit to nwa.com to check upgrade status, I learned Sunday morning that my Wednesday mid-day flight DTW-PHX had been cancelled and I'd been rebooked on the evening flight that day. Evening didn't do it, so I called Sunday morning and got rebooked on the 10 AM Wednesday flight.

But no notice of the cancellation by email/phone anytime Sunday. An email to TTU came back with a canned response to check by profile at nwa.com and ask for notification. Then about 4:14 PM Monday came both the email and the phone call... and I sent back another email to TTU reminding them that the problem was with NWA notification systems and not my NWA profile request for notification. No reply to that email as yet.



My only issue was that I never did get the email or phone call...the only way I knew was by checking nwa.com. After reading this thread I noticed that the times may vary as far as when that notification comes; but getting no call/email at all is a bit puzzling.[/QUOTE]
