We will be leaving from HKG twice in the next 3 weeks and although I have travelled to/from HKG quite a lot I have never used the AEX check in (for various reasons too complicated to explain).

Does anyone know the answers to the following questions:-
  • Is there an F/J Check in (or are the queues too small for this to matter)?
  • Can the check in staff tag your carry on so that you do not have the argument with the HKG goons (admittedly rather cuter looking goons on the whole than their LHR counterparts)?
  • How far in advance of a flight is it possible to check in?
