That's the one! The English language link I'd posted is dead now - this Japanese one should still be active

Mmmmm...

(If I hadn't been to William Curley's this weekend I'd be popping blood vessels with surpressed envy)

Hadn't realised this was 24 hours - still, they're not that far from each other, if jet lag is going to compel me to visit one, I might as well make an excursion out of it and visit both.
The fruit selection is quite decent at 'Food Magazine' (although it tends to be more cost effective to ignore the whole 'natural' fruits and go for the pre-prepared fresh fruit salads - I've never understood how the extra preparation devalues the fruit's worth, total opposite to how retail works in the UK!) but cake selection isn't too hot. I tend to go to Food Magazine when I need some European/US ingredients (although you can get stuff like fish sauce here too) but there's a supermarket near Hiroo that's actually better for this. The bentos at Food Magazine taste as good as they look (not something one can take for granted) - I've certainly bought a few here. I spent a few weeks working at Roppongi Hills and often stopped here to stock up before getting trapped inside for the day , I guess it did help that this shop was open unusually early...
