I get upgrades from both a lot. SPG has more suites A) because I normally do 1 or 2 nights, B) they have more higher end hotels with more suites. Hilton always gives me exec floor, but very few suites I normally spend 3-4 nights at a time and they have fewer suites in their hotels. Hilton has several all suite properties, but that is another matter, so it is not apples to apples, at least on upgrades.
