I saw this decline recently on a flight in F from IAD-ORD. The flight left at 8:05 AM, which I believe is within a meal time window. For breakfast, I expected something like a fruit plate. Well, all we were offered were drinks and some type of breakfast buscuit (i.e. cookie). Even the FA was embarrassed that there was not any more food. We could not even request a second cookie as they only had one per person!! Also, there was not any BOB either. In the old days, even coach had something to eat for breakfast.

In comparison, I took the 3 class IAD-ORD flight a few weeks ago in C and they had a very nice shrimp salad for dinner around 5:30 P.M. ^
