Thanks for the many replies.

It's the Hilton New York, and we would then book a "deluxe room 2 double beds", so that would be no problem. It's also a huge (1980 rooms according to tripadvisor) hotel, so that might help us too.
I'm not a HHonors member at all at the moment, i might enroll, but then just to fwd the miles to my DL SM account, as my travels are currently limited to leisure only.

I think we'll give it a try, and as posted by xyzzy, a tip for housekeeping might help...

toomanybooks, well i guess i've learned something new here as well . Over here we actually use gaylord as one of the so many words introduced into dutch from english, just to mean a gay person. I was kinda shocked from the insulting connotation it has in the dictionary there, which isn't what i meant .
