Be careful before choosing Singapore Airlines (SQ) for flying to Hong Kong or any other Asian destination. Most discounted fares (G, I, N, O, Q, T, V, X) on SQ do not earn any frequent flyer miles. So you will not get any AP miles and not achieve Elite.
