What is the HH rule on that, can they change my room type after it is confirmed? The same room type is in my preferences, but I guess that doesn't really matter since a preference is not guaranteed. I don't see anywhere in the HH rules that a room type can be guaranteed. However, I am using a credit card to guarantee a reservation, is that not the same to guarantee and secure my room?


I must say, this is the first time in the past 4-5 years as a HH Diamond I didn't get the room type I reserve for.
