I just flew back to town today on 285 in F. The cabin was a strong 11/12. From all my multiple runs on the 3-class AKL flights, the highest number of empty seats experienced in the F cabin was 4. So as far as loads, without a doubt the demand is there and majority of the pax (including myself) are F paying pax. Spoke to the LS during the flight regarding the route and she indeed confirmed of the consisted strong demand for F for the market. Though the question of how much revenue is generated is beyond my knowledge since I am fully aware ex-AKL F fares are lower than those ex-Australia, ex-Europe or ex-USA.
Earlier this month onboard the 772 for 281, the J cabin was also completely full.
What I love most about the AKL flights are two "full" meals served as oppose to the SYD & MEL flights where only one "full" + a light "refreshment" is all one gets.
