Mrs Kered & myself are just back from a run to MIA last week & we were really expecting the worst from the Immigration & Customs officials & were prepared for a right horror.
But you know what, we had the friendliest Immigration guy we ever had outside of SFO, same goes for the customs
Having read some stories both here & on other forums & having see a few TV programs about MIA, we really had the impression of a right Zoo, but I don’t know if we were just lucky or what, but we literally sailed though Immigration & customs on the way in with smiles & courtesy all round.
Not to mention walking up to the baggage carousel to see our two bags passing side by side just right in front of us, ready for the picking.
Our outbound experience with the TSA & the shoe carnival was equally pleasant. ^
I dunno maybe it was our lucky day & perhaps we should have done the lottery
