If you want a seat here, I believe they open up the day of the flight, so if you're lucky you may have a chance....probably would better your chances if you you called in <24 hrs before your flight.

That's is not correct, I always get bulkeads on AC as an Elite booked way in advance of departure dates, the exit rows are only issued at the airport.
