It's funny...before I found FlyerTalk I would have just thrown this one away...

This is a targeted promo I just recieved. I can register the names of up to 10 friends who can receive either 10,000 bonus miles on each paid NorthWest World Business Class rountrip on any trans-Pacific or trans-Atlantic flight OR 5,000 on each full fare coach Y or B Class trans-Pacific or trans-Atlantic flight. There is no limit to the number of awards you can receive. For each of you who gets this bonus, I receive a one-time 5,000 or 10,000 mile bonus for each of the 10 referrals. (but there's a catch - see below)

Now, the terms/conditions:

-in order to qualify (here's the catch), it's only valid for travelers who have not flown on any Northwest trans-Pacific or trans-Atlantic trips since 10/1/2000.

- travel must be between 5/1/2002 and 9/30/2002

- you must reside in either the US or Canada

- you can only be referred by one person

- Passenger may not qualify for multiple WorldPerks offers with the same flight segments

- qualifying travel must be on Northwest or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines operated flights

- must be a Worldperks member residing in the US or Canada

- roundtrip travel must begin and end in the US or Canada

- Qualifying travel must occur after registration

- miles do not count toward elite qualification
