Back in the "good ol' days" of Priceline, immediately after winning a bid, you could go to the hotel franchise's website (Marriott or Starwood, for example), enter in the confirmation number you got when your stay got booked, and be able to look up EXACTLY how much Priceline paid for that room. Ah, what I wouldn't give to have that luxury again.
