For the price offered, which equates to Premium Economy on most other carriers, I think
www.MaxJet.com is a bargain.
Having said that, I booked my sister on them last week to NY and the flight was seriously delayed – twelve hours late departing in fact, and she ended up schlepping back to LHR to take a BA flight instead as she had to be in Manhattan for a meeting that evening.
I think for non-business flights, MaxJet is fine, an as they acquire more aircraft (they now have six, I think..) such delays will become less of an issue.
However, there simply is not the resilience offered by larger airlines, but that is why the fares are less, as the risk is priced into the ticket.
Ultimately, things should be fine with your flight. If not, better to be delayed in Business Class than delayed in economy IMHO, and frankly although not great a modest delay on a leisure tip is not such a big deal. Once on board the experience will be vastly superior, for the price paid, to any other carrier to Las Vegas.
What was poor was the fact that no effort was made to contact my sister pre-flight and when she arrived at STN, the staff were less than helpful.
Apart from the Viagra blue leather seats, this has the makings of a good airline, but it is definitely after the Premium Economy market and not the
www.newclubworld.com executive traveller market.
