Right, TG F if for F pax only. The new one is very nice.

Are you just connecting SK973->TG to Phuket? If so, I think you can use the direct transfer bus to your HKT flight and clear immigration and customs in Phuket They'll have someone waiting for you at the gate in Phuket. At least that's how it works with TG->TG connections.

In that case you could use the TG Royal Orchid Lounge in the Internatinnal terminal. There is a nice one in the newer part of the terminal, after the Qantas Club in the corridor between 40 and 50 gates. At least the F section has showers there.

There is also a TG C/Star G lounge in the domestic terminal, very basic and run down mut it has some pastries and soft drinks. It's right of the check-in counters and says something like VIP Lounge.

I have used both SQ F and SQ C lounges in the international terminal, they are not much better than TG's but I have always been there more or less alone. They are on the tarmac side of the corridor between 30 and gates.

There is also a Lufthansa Business lounge, not worth visiting, just opposite the entrance to the 40 gates. The UA Red Carpet club is not open in afternoons I think, and you're better off with TG/SQ lounges anyway.

There is also a TG C/Star G lounge in Phuket, soft drinks and sandwiches available.

[Edited to add]

SQ and TG lounges have internet available in the international terminal.

Bangkok Airways has the counter for all passengers with some juices and pastries in their gate area of the domestic terminal. PG is not worth it at the moment though as TG has specials for 1599 baht to Phuket if you are buying the tickets separately.

Further TG facilities in Thailand include at least the lounge in Chiang Mai - well you guessed it, soft drinks and sandwiches and pastries ate available.

In Udon Thani TG offered a voucher for some sort of a sandwich thingie (I survived it...) and soft drink from the snack counter. If anyone is going to Vientiane, fares to Udon are dirt cheap compared to BKK-VTE.

Hope that was of some help.
