Observations...

1. The brochure does not mention select spend points.
2. It describes flight points and purchase points, just like the existing card.
3. The passage on Airport lounge access mentions that 2 guests are permitted.
4. It includes international companion travel, but not domestic companion travel. (The domestic travel benefit was only marginally useful.)

The only positive (vs. the existing card) is no foreign transaction fees for a limited time.
