I was watching the "Airport" series (the LHR one) and an episode on the VIP area featured the arrival of the Sultan of Brunei. He arrived piloting his own 747, and the narrator noted that his wives were arriving later on the "other" 747.
Seems a bit of a waste to pilot it when you have it kitted out like that. A bit like having a Bentley with no chauffeur.
It's all a bit vulgar really. The thrill of money is in the chase, not having it and flaunting it in that manner.
