I am sorry to inform you that it won't likely make much difference.

So we should cancel all the topics being discussed under Flyertalk because they "dont make any difference"...

Please also note that often airlines use "local crew" not because of better service to the passenger, but because it's cheaper than the ones hired in Europe.

KLM uses local crew for its flights to Japan, which have higher cost that Dutch crew.

I still doubt if indeed all these carriers have Portuguese speaking FA's on every flight to GRU.

And I reconfirm that all European airlines use Brazilian crew (1 to 3 per flight) on their operations to GRU. This means that BA, LH, AF, LX, AZ, IB, TP have onboard Brazilian crew. KLM is making a diservice to GRU.

As a matter of fact, AF recently recruited 70 Brazilian FAs. BA and LH even keep a Brazil-based crew to assist on flights, such is the importance they attach to "customer care".
