Didn't a crew scheduling computer glitch cause a LCC to cncl all flights for a day? I believe that (and yes, my "go UA" hat is on) a few hours of delays from the main operational system going out isn't that terrible of a thing when some other airlines basicly shut down for a day.
Think of US when they merged HP/US there were weeks worth of disruptions, and that was a planned thing.
Sure, it stinks, It would be great if it didn't happen, but it isn't the end of the world... UAUA is up another 1.5% in addition to the 7+% yesterday. Walstreet must not think this is the end of the world.
