I find it amusing that management has to "test" the effect of having an extra FA on board. One would think its pretty apparent that boarding an extra FA to allow the Purser to spend more time interacting with high value customers would be a pretty positive thing.
Ironically even with adding an extra FA we are still short of pre-9/11 staffing levels.
