Q: SAS Copenhagen - New York

Dear fellow flyertalkers.

I am planning a short 3 day trip to New York to pick up some computer stuff. I am a bit in doubt of wheather i should get a SAS flight direct from copenhagen, or take a low cost carrier to london, and get on a Virgin Atlantic or BA flight to New York. Let me just quicly add that this is an economy ticket i am looking for.

My question is, which aircraft type is SAS operating in january on CPH - EWR?? (New York)? Any experiences with this route?

After reading reviews at both www.airlinequality.com and http://www.carsurvey.org/air/ I feel like trying BA again. I have always been happy about the BA service on the LHR-ABV (Abuja) leg, which i have done quite a few times now. And since my last SAS experience was a CPH-CDG which was quite dissapointing (i hope their transatlantic service is better) i'm in the mood for BA.

But maybe somebody here can make me jump back to SAS - i hope so :-)

By the way happy christmas to everybody here, this is a wonderfull forum, a place i must visit every morning before starting up the days work.
