I asked to go on the VDB list and the GA seemed happy to have someone, had me keep waiting.. after all the op upgrades she let me know they fit everyone on and put me back in my lowly coach seat

Service was still pretty good, but I have a sore behind

Maybe on the way back... Although there are a lot more seats on the A340
