Security is not TSA, but the same rules are basically followed (including the disgusting shoe removal). If you buy duty-free, it MUST be put in your checked bag if it is a liquid more than 3.4 oz.
Indeed, the lines could be long. I waited for about 40 minutes when I was heading to IAD a few weeks ago. Admittedly it was a Monday, mid-day flight.
Not sure if the OP is *G, or if the ML Lounge will be open early that morning, but that club is definitely worth a stop before the flight.
