I think they were more than fair to her under the conditions in which she acted. She broke the rules, pitched a fit, got in the face and yelled at the LEO, didn't properly care for her child when she took her out of the stroller and just let her roam free and got away with a simple apology and wiping her mess up with some paper towels!
I would be interested in seeing the video for many of the "incidents" that are reported here on FT. While I certainly believe that there's some truth to most stories, I think many people would be changing their stories like this woman sure will be.
I went on the Discovery Channel's web page and can't seem to find any trademark on mythbusters anywhere. Looking it up on the trademark site it seems to be trademarked having to do with "promoting public awareness in the field of breast cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment through the distribution of informational publications"
