I think they are tryinf to be more customer focused than in the past.
This "trying to be more customer focused" is NOT new. They have been doing this for AT LEAST the past couple of years, if not more. (There are a myriad of other threads on e-rewards in this forum, and you'll find the same questions and discussions on some of them as on this one.)
I agree with
mvoight that they ought to eliminate the annual 75% of points expiration....
