I had that happen once on an E90 YWG-YVR my screen happened to be the only one that was off. Luckily, like in your case, the back was empty so I just moved once everyone was onboard. There was a guy in the back though who was two rows away and snoring really loudly during takeoff. Either he was that loud or the plane was that quiet... I dunno
