It's not really free, you know. It is paid for by advertiser dollars. Ironically, when it was truly free it was better maintained!
And to us who know it from the old days we understand USA Today has nothing to do with it. But USA Today is "paying" with their brand name attached to a poorly supported product. I'm sure there are many users now who's first exposure was through USAToday.com.
A simple update to work with the changed websites... is that too much to ask?
